Until all Guineans have heard
"Gospel for Every Home" seeks to distribute 500,000 Bibles and other Gospel media across Guinea-Bissau, using innovative tools like Micro SD cards, the Torch Audio Bible, and Vista Video Projectors to reach unreached communities and share the Gospel, beyond the literacy barriers.
Program Overview
The YWAM base of Guinea-Bissau has been serving their nation for over 34 years. The ministry’s headquarters is located in Gabu, the country’s third-largest city, within a region where 90% of the population practices a different religion. This area is home to several unreached people groups, including the Fulanis, Mandinkas, Jahankas, Sonike, Fula Jalon, and Manjakus.
One of YWAM Guinea-Bissau’s most impactful initiatives is "A Bible for Every Home," a project dedicated to distributing 500,000 Bibles across the region. In an area where many are illiterate, the ministry has partnered with Renew World Outreach to make the Gospel accessible through technology.
Micro SD cards preloaded with the Bible in audio format allow individuals to hear God’s Word in their own language directly on their cellphones, breaking the barriers of literacy and reaching hearts with the message of the Gospel. Missionaries are also being equipped with other powerful tools like the Torch Audio Bible, Vista Video Projectors, and LightStream WiFi Hotspot devices.
Supporting this ministry helps them achieve their goal of providing a Bible for every home and sharing the message of Jesus with remote communities, spreading God’s love and teachings until all Guineans have heard.
