Program Overview

In the early 2000s, David and Stephanie Palusky began working among the U* tribe in the remote Peruvian Amazon. David developed a solar-powered DVD player to display the newly translated U* Jesus Film, and soon began developing other technologies to support missionaries. This innovation led to the founding of Renew World Outreach. 

Since then, Renew has been committed with the mission of seeing the Amazon come to know Jesus. The Aurora Project is our longest standing program and has become one of Renew’s legacies. Through this initiative, Renew collaborates with both national and international partners in the Amazon Basin to distribute the Bible in audio format, translated into the heart languages of the region's distinct people groups. 

This program aims to equip nationals and Indigenous people with the Gospel, empowering them to effectively reach the Amazon tribes while partnering with other ministries for discipleship. For many years, this program has hosted ongoing Gospel media recordings, outreach initiatives, and Indigenous training conferences at the Aurora property in the Peruvian Amazon. This has led to numerous conversions and the planting of churches among not only the U* people group but many other Indigenous people groups of the Amazon. This is made possible through tools such as the VISTA Video Projectors, Torch Audio Bibles, and MicroSD cards.
