Program Overview

In Sierra Leone, over 75% of the population adheres to other religions. With 10 unreached peoples out of a total of 28 people groups, Sierra Leone is a key area ready for the spread of the Gospel. Pastor Alfred, originally from Sierra Leone but now residing in the US, runs one of the fastest growing outreaches in this country. Together with Global Refuge, he has trained and assembled a team of 88 indigenous missionaries who are dedicated to spreading the Gospel throughout Sierra Leone and beyond. The ministry’s vision is to lead non-believers to embrace Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. 

In partnership with Renew World Outreach, this program is making significant strides in advancing the Gospel through the use of innovative tools such as the Torch Audio Bible, VISTA Projector Systems, Lightstream WiFi Hotspot devices, and Micro SD Cards. They are fervently committed to evangelism, discipleship, and establishing churches. 

A notable achievement for them was founding a church in a hostile-to-Christianity village. Despite the initial religious identification, the community is now experiencing growth in their faith through ongoing discipleship efforts.

It also helps in the growth of this ministry as it extends to Guinea, a country with less than 1% Christian Evangelicals.
