The Rescue Project

The Rescue Project is a short film for the global Deaf community that shares the story of the Gospel using Visual Vernacular, a dramatic wordless storytelling form.

70 million Deaf people,
400+ sign languages, one gospel

With over 400 sign languages spoken around the world and only one Bible translation available in American Sign Language, missionaries face a significant challenge when trying to share the Gospel with Deaf people who use different sign languages or, in some cases, have no access to a formal sign language at all. The Rescue project uses an innovative approach to address these challenges.
